meetings as a result of his employment. I was sorry to hear this news but Jeff has agreed to help out as he can. With this vacancy available we searched for an individual with dedication to training and helping our users address their Mac problems. AMUG has found such an individual in Dorman Bullard. Dorman Bullard is a long standing officer in AMUG and one of our better AMUG News‚Ñ¢ writers. Dorman always has a new tidbit of Mac information to share and has provided several AMUG training sessions in the past. Dorman has agreed to coordinate the AMUG Tempe Satellite meetings and has several programs in the planning stages. We hope to list several months worth of events scheduled for Tempe in the AMUG calendar regularly. I know you will enjoy the Macintosh training sessions at AMUG Tempe and if you can help please call Dorman at 962-9619. Thanks Dorman!
AMUG Auction Extravaganza...
On October 27, 1990 AMUG will host its first annual AMUG Auction and Carnival Extravaganza. This meeting will be on Saturday and run from 2:PM until 9:00PM. During the meeting one half hour of every hour will be assigned to certain groups of software packages for auction. Also, Jeff Gersteen will be showing the public domain, disk copies and the Best of Series will be available and lots of companionship.
If we can get some members to contribute we may have several
cake walks as well for the children and balloons. We hope to
make this a great family event and want to see you
